With over 25 years of dedicated service to children, families, and fellow practitioners, I am a Registered Social Worker who understands the many layers and complexities of clinical care. My diverse career has included leadership, academic instruction, clinical supervision, training, and hands-on therapeutic work, giving me a broad perspective on both the pressures clinicians face and the meaningful impact of the work we do. As a seasoned supervisor and educator, I bring warmth, humour, curiosity, and authenticity to supervision, creating a safe and supportive space where social workers and therapists can engage in honest self-reflection, explore challenges, and continue to grow professionally.

At the heart of my approach is a simple belief: those who care for others deserve exceptional support themselves. My supervision style is collaborative and reflective, balancing encouragement with thoughtful challenge, practical guidance, and honest conversation. I believe supervision should go beyond reviewing cases and managing clinical concerns. It should be a space to strengthen clinical judgment, explore different therapeutic approaches, build confidence, and develop your own authentic clinical voice.

I want the clinicians I supervise to feel comfortable saying, “I’m stuck,” “I’m not sure,” or “I need another perspective.” Those moments are not signs of weakness; they are often where some of our most valuable professional growth begins. My role is not to tell you exactly how to be a therapist, but to help you recognize your strengths, deepen your skills, challenge yourself when needed, and become increasingly confident in the clinician you are becoming.
